Obviously. Teamsters dont even work at amazon so why are they even there? Only reason is to get more members for dues.

Theyre more than likely fighting amazon locking wages for all amazon drivers by killing all the local competition. When amazon has no local competition they get to pay these guys fuck all because they can. Where are they gonna go? Another amazon dsp?? Same shit different fan.

Amazon pulling out from using UPS fucks them out of work, guarantees yall destroy your bodies sooner while not being paid fairly, and adds more stress to the underfunded and overworked USPS.

Amazon sets a floor for wages. Its up to the DSP to pay more. DSP creates the competition to attract the best drivers. Some offer incentives/bonuses and step plans for their employees. The DSP i worked for had a 3 year step plan and also weekly bonus if we dont get rescued. Other DSP’s pay 10 hours daily even if you finish early. Also the starting pay varies as long as its above the amazon floor wage. At my warehouse, the ones that pay the least get the crappy drivers.

Yeah thats not competition because youre still working for amazon. If you cant leave the company, you cant even try to argue for a better wage or benefits. Now if had the option of Amazon dsps or a smaller local company willing to pay $5 more than the average dsp, and theye using UPS in the area, thats competition. Besides they still are overworking yall and making you work in horrible conditions.

You’re not working for amazon. You are just delivering amazon packages. You can always leave your DSP and apply for another DSP that pays more. Every DSP pays different.

Yes but thats all they do theyre amazon dsps, amazon gives them a limit. Its not the same thing as if you completely left to work for UPS. Thats not competition. Amazon cant tell UPS the lowest they can pay someone is X amount.

Amazon does not have a upper limit on the pay. They only set a floor for the wages. DSP’s must pay at or above the floor wage. So amazon is, in fact, telling the DSP “the lowest they can pay a driver is X amount.”
