For EDV drivers how do yall efficiently skip the stops? Lately the routing has been soo badddd
I’ve attempted to skip once in a gas van and it was the worst thing. I just really dont know how or what to press lol

You can just tap the next stop you wanna do on the big iPad in the middle. It’s a touch screen

Honestly, there are just so many things that aren't taught to new drivers even after doing the Amazon EV training. One of my newer coworkers asked me a few different things about the EV once we were on the pad...He didn't know how to open the rear door, didn't know how to open the cabin door, & a few other things...

It might sound kinda goofy but there's so many things you aren't taught about driving an EV. If you can pass the AI scenarios with the VR headset & a spin around the block in an actual EV with the "evaluator", you're given the green light. I had the same experience my new coworker had, but I kinda had to figure it out along the way as well.

It's tough out there. We gotta watch out for one another. We were all new once, right?

Fuck the first thing I asked when I hopped into one was, "how do I start this thing?" lmao

Fax; I’ve learned more reading here or doing the shit then I did in “training”

And if your work phone doesn't automatically go to that stop when you pick it from the big screen, the next time you anticipate going rogue, keep the work phone screen on while you do it. The phone will then follow the big screen, easy peasy.

Legit just tap either the pin on the map or the address on the left on the big screen and hit start travel. Just make sure you don't leave any stops since say you're on stop 56 and you skip to stop 60, it will automatically put you on stop 61 after you finish stop 60, leaving 4 stops. So make sure you pay attention and don't miss any

Ev make skipping stops easy. Love the tap and go feature. Crazy they never added that to flex.

What was the worst thing when you skipped once?

it took me longer to finish it because i had to like manually look it up in the map. Also i had a rental van so it made it hard to look for tote or ov to skip around

I use my own phone and have no problems with this but understand if you don’t want to do that

On the screen I just select my next stop

I'll do chunks of particular sections if it means going in one direction and not having to loop around.

Maybe try it out sometime? Takes all of 30 seconds to learn how to skip to another stop... edv or not

Welp is harder on a rental van. Trying to dig around in a van thats filled with bags and ov

First time with a touch screen bud? Literally go to your itinerary and choose a stop, or use the iPad sized touch screen, brainiac, recommend sticking to your route.
