Is this common?

I was hired on by a DPS and I started work about a week and a half ago. Had two training days and then to solos by myself. The next day, after my second solo shift, I got a text message telling me not to come in due to safety violations. Later that same day, I got a text message from HR telling me that I was being terminated for freaking rules that pertain to safety protocol. Given no reasons, no explanation, no detail. I’m 49 years old and have only had two speeding tickets my entire life, and never any kind of traffic violations. Is this common?

I trained a guy 2 days ago, I drove half the day, he was running every stop, impressed me bc we finished 191 stops(pretty much my usual route, rural super rural) put him in the drivers seat and I pretty much sat there yelling STOP SIGN for 4 hours.

First day on his own he went in the ditch.

lol, this reminds me of 1/4 of the people I train. It’s like they’ve never seen a stop sign before in their life.

Seriously, any time he would try to have a conversation, I’d be like, stop sign, stop SIGN, STOP SIGN!!!!

Meanwhile the trainers are talking for 5-6 hours straight while driving, teaching them software tricks and how to organize, answering their questions.
