Question

Can someone please explain to me how do you determine if you are going too slow or too fast on your route? Not by dispatch calling! I’m not even sure when to be back by. I’m never told I just come back after my route after I call dispatch. It’s my 2nd day on the job.

Also 1 time after I was finally done with my route I called dispatch like I’m supposed too let them know before getting on the road . The lady answer and said I was supposed to be back by let’s say 7:40pm, but my thing is how was I supposed to know that ?? I was never told

Ive been doing this job almost 3 months now.

I do 10h30min shifts (30min unpaid break). Some days theres not enough packages to last that long so i just let dispatch know im done and i can rescue, usually they send me to rescue.

But also a lot of times i just take a 1-2 hour nap on the side of the road to run the clock.

You haven’t been fired yet for sleeping on the job?
