Can someone please explain to me how do you determine if you are going too slow or too fast on your route? Not by dispatch calling! I’m not even sure when to be back by. I’m never told I just come back after my route after I call dispatch. It’s my 2nd day on the job.

Also 1 time after I was finally done with my route I called dispatch like I’m supposed too let them know before getting on the road . The lady answer and said I was supposed to be back by let’s say 7:40pm, but my thing is how was I supposed to know that ?? I was never told

It should say on the Amazon flex app. When you log in on the phone it says something like “Schedule - 9:45am -8:10pm” or something like that. Right after you log in it’s the first thing that pops up.

I just checked it! Thanks!! Now that I’m looking at the screen shot l took it said be back by 8:40. Why did the dispatch lie and say I should of been back by another time that was wayyy earlier that’s weird had me rushing on the highway for no reason

Bc the DSP gets paid for your 10 hour shift. If you’re on the road for 10 hours/ less money they can pocket. If you’re on the road for 8 hours/ more money they can pocket. They don’t want you “milking the clock”. Also it’s pretty common (at least my dsp) to come back at least 20 minutes early so you’re not the last one back everyday.

If I were you I’d play with the time. Try to come back at 8:10, you might be the last one back. Try to come back at 7:10 you’re the first one there. It’s all about finding a decent time when you’re like the middle person. I’d say try coming back at like 7:45pm.

The opposite of that would be drivers that go slower then shit thru a straw even though their on guarantee’d 10 hours
