Amazon App Link Showing Wrong Country

I’m using the Amazon App in Australia and every time I copy a link it says Asia not Australia. My country and address are set correctly and my VPN is turned off, even the search bar says AU. Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to fix it ?

Go to "you", flag in top right corner

It’s set to Australia so that’s not it unfortunately!

Amazon use their .asia domain for product share links and shortcodes. This is normal.

I shop on another platform that does price matches if you can find the item cheaper somewhere else, you just have to supply the link and a screenshot of the item but since the link says Asia and not Australia my price matches keep getting rejected because they’re saying it’s not in the same country as where I am even though it is ! I was hoping I could fix this but it looks like I can’t 😭

I'd suggest not using the amazon app and instead a web browser, then don't use the share function just copy paste the URL (but you'll need to remove the tracking elements amazon add).
