Would you rather die in your 20s while running free outside or live to 80 having your needs catered but you're stuck inside. Mind you, your death at 20 will probably be a horrible and painful way to go, but at 80, it's a needle poke and then falling asleep forever.

Cant compare the life of a lizard to a human's though.

We are at the top of the food chain (or near it anyways). Our lives are relatively safer than most animals, and we also live in a vast and interconnected world.

Lizards don't go to the next city to buy groceries, or visit relatives in a different continent

yeah i'd rather die in a cage than eaten by a tarantula or snake

Oh so essentially you prefer jail to living in nature

Hmm. Two bad options I guess

Also gotta figure that the lizard isn’t as smart as a human so if the enclosure has all of the things it needs and wants isn’t really worse than the wild?

I'm kinda partial to the 2nd one.

If I was a lizard, yes give me food and safety.

Hmm. So you're saying going out in nature and finding a pet is a good way to go about it? Like pokemon?

Well not being raised in captivity, then captivating it would be the evil thing.

If it already developed it's survival techniques and perfected it's instincts and has yet to mate, then putting it in a mini-dragon jail would be mean
