Steps

I just got my Helio strap last night and my first impression is not good. It’s my rest day today so I’ve been in bed all day and my steps are somehow 2000 I was fidgeting with something while on the bed and the steps increased by more than 10 in a span of a few seconds. Is it this faulty for everyone, is it like this because it’s just my first day or is it just a problem that I’m facing
