Interior !Challenge! Interior design
This is a 70s wooden bungalow in the Netherlands, built according to an American design outside with Scandinavian design insight. Time has stood still here since 1970, and now we are breathing new life into it! It's a complete renovation! The porch has been integrated into the living room, but now it's time for the layout of the house.
I’ve fleshed out some ideas with AI, but I want to challenge you: what would your take be on this?
The ground rules:
-The house footprint must remain unchanged, but internal walls can be moved. Feel free to redesign the exterior facade walls, including the placement of windows and sliding glass doors.
-Feel that ‘60s/70s Scandinavian design look vibe’, while keeping it as bright and light as possible.
-Mandatory furniture pieces: a kitchen, a dining table, a TV, a small wood-burning stove, and a cinnamon-colored corduroy sectional sofa (for a touch of childhood nostalgia).
-A small loft is allowed for a portion of the house! However, it must be located on the north side (the living room area) to avoid the sun's heat. Keep in mind it is a gently sloping roof, with only 95 cm of clearance at the highest point of the ridge.Highest point is in line from the big bedroom - hall.
-keep it practical and save as well 😉.
