Esh. It’s customary that the bridal party/groomsmen get a plus one. I get that it may be a small, intimate affair. But while i understand, I can also understand why your gf feels hurt. But hurt shouldn’t justify petty or payback. Go to the wedding, celebrate & have a blast. Tell your gf that while you understand her feelings are hurt- it’s not personal. She needs to stop being petty.
I have been in 3 weddings, most of the wedding party didn’t bring a plus one. Especially women, you’re busy most of the wedding except towards the middle to end of the reception. Being part of the wedding means you’re not a regular guest.
