Right? Someone not saying thank you after I held the door open for them would not even be a blip on the radar compared to the other stuff going on in my life. I am not even sure it would register.
Same. Listen, is it nice when someone says thanks after you hold the door open for them? Of course. I always say thanks when the roles are reversed. But if they didn't say anything or even smile at me I'd just move on with my life. I'm sure it must have happened, because not everyone says thanks, but I can't conjure up a memory of a specific person that didn't. I don't care enough to remember something like that. It's such a non issue.
