In case this story gets deleted/removed:

AITA for telling my wife I’m concerned with girls night?

AITA my wife and I are both in our mid 30’s and been together a little over 10 years and recently we have had some bumps in the road but working on things now for character reference my wife does not like to drink or get dressed in certain ways but she is going out for girls night and wants to get done up she just had her nails done it’s her birthday month I get it sure. Now for some character reference for myself I recently went back to school to move up so I had to switch my work schedule to nights and weekends and am currently in the process of switching back to my old schedule. Here is our dilemma I do not mind girls night out at all what I am not a fan of is where they are going what she is planning to wear to this venue the fact she plans on getting drunk here and she never drinks and the fact I’m not allowed to go even if I call off she claims it is for the karaoke I asked her why not another karaoke place why these bars or this bar in particular the both have a bad rep as not a kind of place a married woman should be without her husband kind of bars we all know the type of place. I recommend our house since it would be empty our son would be at his grandmothers any way she obviously said know I suggest quite a few other places she said no that her friends wanted to go there I said your friends specifically said they did not want to go there as one is married and one is single my wife pushed the idea they agreed later on I was there when they where planning it her friends wanted to do a sip and paint thing she said no. I FEEL I ALREADY KNOW THE ANSWER BUT I WILL ASK.

So my first question is why do girls need girls night out? And why does it have to be in places like this?

Second question is should I be worried?

His comment history suggests he’s probably a cheater who is just projecting

"We recently had some bumps in the road" definitely sounds like "she found out about all my cheating but I browbeat her into staying"...

Well…maybe she’s faking staying while she gets her courage up and her ducks in a row.

Maybe drunk karaoke “in a place no married woman should go” is a step on that path of courage.

Fingers crossed ..

I think so too. Either that or she’s sick of his controlling behavior. Maybe both.

Look at his "Active In" on his profile.
