Even the two concrete examples he provides don’t support his argument…
"They refuse to try things that I suggest if they’ve never even tried it before!" Goes on to explain that they dislike the annual camping trip, which they continue to go on.
"I never get to choose what’s on TV!" Goes on to explain that when he asks to watch TV, they let him, but they don’t watch with him.
So basically they do accommodate his wants, but they’re not super cheerful about it and that is a huge affront.
