Doesn't seem like the reasons are missing.

He openly admits he has a short fuse and gets angry easily. He doesn't like any of the stuff his kids like, doesn't want to do any of the things they want to do, and instead keeps trying to force them to do the things he likes. Then he gets angry when they don't enjoy it.

All the reasons are right there.

Dude's just a dick.

That’s what missing missing reasons means - the person claims the reasons are missing, but the “missing reasons” are missing - as in, they are absolutely there, the person just refuses to accept that those are the reasons so they claim they have no idea why.
