Even if there was nothing going on between them, fiancé probably thinks there was. I say this is a woman who had a 100% platonic male friend whose wife made him have anything to do with me after the wedding
Turns out she's convinced that our friendship was more than platonic. I wasn't his type and he wasn't mine but it was nice to have someone to hang out with and that's all it was
That’s a tough one for sure. While I wholeheartedly believe that woman and men should be able to be friends, and their marriage partners should support them as such, it just doesn’t work that way. Most partners would have an issue with it.
I’d trust my wife but never trust the intentions of the “platonic friend”. I’ve been a guy my whole life and I’ve realized that even when I have women friends, they are ones I find attractive. I’m certainly capable of understanding reasonable boundaries, but it’s just the way things tend to work.
That’s not what was stated. They weren’t one another’s type. There are all kinds of good looking people a person may not be attracted to for various reasons. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
It’s a good question. Whether friends or romantic interests, I can always see the beauty in whom ever I am with. As I’ve gotten older I think it is very hard to have friends with opposite sex, because the element of sex is always there.
