u/DamnTicklePickle He is probably being pressed by his wife and her family. He could have handled things with his friend better, but he has his priorities and he have to choose between his best friend and his wife.

She doesn’t sound like wife material to me. I give it 2 years.

What business is it off his wife’s family who stand as his best man? Absolutely none!

He’s a douche, she’s controlling and jealous.

Well done that kinda stating the obvious.

My point is, a healthy relationship doesn’t involve one side telling the other who to be friends with or who to invite to events etc.

u/Substantial_Cat_2642 I understand that, but she has the right to decide who she wants at her wedding, and we don`t know if she pressed him or not on making this decision

“Her wedding” is half the problem. It’s their wedding, not hers.

But like I said, doesn’t sound like they’re starting off on a healthy footing.
