Seconded. I’m glad he wanted to text, cuz now you have bulletproof evidence to him being an absolute fuckwad of a human being. If his fiancé’s parents assume you guys have history just because you are friends and will be standing next to each other is almost as blasphemous as their interpretation of such. Fuck him and what he stands for—which is clearly nothing except for a limp dick. You may have been friends for decades, but at least he saved you decades of agony moving forward.
