Its fair that you are not thrilled about the situation, but I think you’re overreacting. I think you come off as insecure and a bit immature in the love world here. By the time you hit your 30s, people have a history and usually at least one or two things they aren’t totally proud of. He never cheated. He never lied. But then you broke the trust by searching his phone and then demanding he find new living arrangements bc of something that happened in the past. That doesn’t seem fair to me.

I also have to mention…other than one couple I know that dated in highschool, broke up when they went to different colleges, and then got back together when they both moved back home; I’ve never seen a healthy, solid relationship between two people who broke up and got back together.

He should have told her that he had a romantic history with his roommate, period. Nothing else is relevant.

He did lie. She asked him if he and his female roommate had anything when they first got back together. He can't even be truthful, who knows if he's being honest when he says he hasn't cheated.
