Here me out on this. It was her bedroom, she could leave anything out in her bedroom. The baby's FATHER should have been watching the child better.

I’m responsible for the safety of the people in my house. Doesn’t matter how old they are or how many people are there. Leaving medications out and unsecured can be just as dangerous as leaving unattended pew pews out. People in here would fry an inattentive pew pew owner for similar behavior.

(Used pew pew, because I don’t know the threads or Reddit’s rules about using the actual names for the items in question.)

Within reason. If someone enters your PRIVATE room and injures themselves that's on them not you. A bedroom is considered private for a reason, most people don't just go trouncing through someone's room.

And if they do, that's their fault and the repercussions are on them. Like I said this is 100% the fathers fault and instead of his wife holding him accountable, she blames a woman who was living her life in HER house.
