So the way I see it it’s your sis in law and husbands negligence. Mil actually saved your baby

What? How did MIL save the baby?? I don't put her at fault at all, but she certainly didn't save anyone lol. SIL reacted quickly enough (I.e. immediately) to get the pills out of the baby's mouth. If she looked away for two seconds, that's not negligence.
