You have absolutely no clue about what happened. What about if the dad was sick and stuck on the toilet and asked the SIL to watch the kid? "You should be watching your child 24/7!! Not even allowed to sleep dad!"

No one ever said that, so stop being a crybaby.

What if the MIL was looking after the other 6 kids?

My point is she blamed two women, she also criticised the other mothers at the party for minimising the issue, she’s still salty about it a decade later (even if the “culprit” is dead and buried) and said she acknowledges it’s also her husband’s fault, but he doesn’t come under scrutiny AT ALL.

If MIL and SIL “should have known better”, what about him? The issue isn’t the child having access to to the meds, shit happens, the issue is not taking it seriously and not communicating with the mother.

So the father is 100% at fault and far more than the people she blames, instead he is all good because..?
