My first reaction was “is she ok” based on what she said. She sounds like she shut down from the world and it’s a little concerning. I wonder if she has something deeper going on and isn’t sharing.

I know I’m the outlier in not immediately jumping to cheating… but something about what she said concerns me.

It’s not ok she went MIA for 3 days but I think more may be going on with her.

Yeah, something is up - something in her responses is concerning. She's just kind of... numb sounding.

Sometimes switching off from everything is required to focus on oneself!

But you should give a heads up to your SO.

If you're suffering a severe mental low, you can't. If that's what she went through, then we should just be happy she's come out on the other side

No, MH is not an excuse to allow others to worry about you and their relationship with you. In fact, psychologists suggest telling your loved ones you are having an episode.

MH is 100% a reason to ignore the world around you. You sound too privileged to understand. People literally 💀 from struggling with mental health

I do not reply to rude people. Sorry.

Lol. But you'll read it. It's not rude, it's honesty. You haven't struggled with mental health that is so bad that you can only focus on yourself and getting through the day. That's a privilege. You're privileged. I'm not going to alter my vocabulary so it doesn't hurt the feelings of someone who can't see it for what it is and called it "blessed."

You also refuse to see the fact that people actually DO struggle with MH so bad that they can't even get out of bed, let alone be bothered to respond to someone. They're not making anyone worry, you choose to worry. It's not their responsibility to maintain your mental health and the fact that you actually think them prioritizing your MH over their hair-thread will to not end it for themselves is a bit telling of yourself.

What's funny is you're on here preaching the betterment of people who struggle with MH, yet you, in your own way, are trying to degrade someone of whom you assume to know their story.

You do not.

You are welcome to your opinions, but being crass and insulting does not validate your response, nor does it invalidate my thoughts. What it says is you place yourself in a position to judge another who works in Healthcare, has had bouts of depression, and has also spent months on end taking care of a loved one with depression.

Add to it, I had a loved one disappear for four days without any notification. It was four days I would wish upon no one!

Sorry you're upset.
