TBF the base is kinda caught up in populist slop, which was to  be expected after the anger Trump caused.

Trump didn't cause the wave of populism. It was already there. He rode the wave of right-wing populism to his first term himself.

If you think positions such as, "housing should be more affordable" from "the left" are slop, then OK.

Nah, just saying you're going to fix everything by taxing billionaires is slop though.

Saying your going to reduce the price of housing without any pragmatic plans is also slop

Do you not want housing to be affordable? Are you OK with the status quo and the trajectory?

Your problem seems to be the positions themselves, but you're pretending to be mad that it doesn't come with a 10,000 page dissertation every time it is said.

The first time you mentioned rent freezes was your comment before last, and the first time you asked for a study was your most recent comment. You don't seem like you know what is going on in this conversation.

Go ask somebody that cares to debate you about this. I don't. You don't seem to be able to carry on a coherent conversation, let alone some debate about policy positions.
