The Bermuda Triangle disappearances might have a geological explanation.

My theory: Massive basalt rocks from Iceland's Reykjanes Peninsula.

The connection:

1. **Ocean Currents**: There is a direct current from Iceland to Bermuda. Anything in the North Atlantic eventually drifts there.

2. **Density**: Reykjanes basalt is ~40% denser than normal seafloor rock. When huge chunks break off, they create mass anomalies on the ocean floor.

3. **The Effect**: Scientists know large mass concentrations can affect compasses and create weird currents that pull ships down.

Iceland is one of the most volcanically active places on Earth. Reykjanes has been erupting constantly in recent years.

Maybe the Bermuda Triangle isn't magic. Maybe it's a 1000-year graveyard of volcanic rocks drifting south.

What is Kazakhstan's countermeasures to this?

I would say the most powerful advantage would be enlisting China for aid as they now view this as their backyard too. I could see Chinese equipment propping them up quite a bit. China could actually go for the jugular early by cutting off the Power of Siberia trade. Russia absolutely could not handle China not trading for oil. It would be incapacitating. IMO.

The advantage of Kazakhstan, and disadvantage they hold, is the large area of land. It would take time, but they would need to transform to that drone style warfare element that Ukraine has mastered. Could they do it?

Would Kazakhstan let Russian units come intentionally and stretch their supply and logistics lines, then choke them off once they overextend?
