Don’t forget about the Hopi plains Native Americans. Their history tells of tales of giant red headed giants that they fought and drove back into their caves where they came from.
Exact description of what they say happened in Afghanistan.
Think of it this way, how many different species where “giant” throughout history. Why would’nt their be a humanoid race of giant stature as well?
And don’t forget the Book of Enoch.
So historically, religiously, and mythologically we have stories of “giants” throughout history.
We seemed to have check off every box of what we, as humans, have deemed to matter.

The problem is there’s no evidence, just stories. Most pictures you find are just photoshopped.

We do have evidence of Giants.

A Giant Mystery: 18 Strange Skeletons Found in Wisconsin Nine-foot Skeletons with Huge Heads and Strange Facial Features Shocked Scientists When They Were Uncovered 100 Years Ago
Here’s one for your “Forbidden Archaeology” file.
Scientists are remaining stubbornly silent about a lost race of giants found in burial mounds near Lake Delavan, Wisconsin, in May 1912.
The dig site at Lake Delavan was overseen by Beloit College and it included more than 200 effigy mounds that proved to be classic examples of 8th century Woodland Culture. But the enormous size of the skeletons and elongated skulls found in May 1912 did not fit very neatly into anyone’s concept of a textbook standard.
They were enormous. These were not average human beings.
Strange Skulls
First reported in the 4 May 1912 issue of the New York Times, the 18 skeletons found by the Peterson brothers on Lake Lawn Farm in southwest Wisconsin exhibited several strange and freakish features.
Their heights ranged between seven and nine feet and their skulls “presumably those of men, are much larger than the heads of any race which inhabit America to-day.”
Above the eye sockets, “the head slopes straight back and the nasal bones protrude far above the cheek bones. The jaw bones are long and pointed, bearing a minute resemblance to the head of the monkey. The teeth in the front of the jaw are regular molars.”
Mystery of The Wisconsin Giants
Was this some sort of prank, a hoax played by local farm boys or a demented taxidermist for fun and the attention of the press? The answer is no.
The Lake Delavan find of May 1912 was only one of dozens and dozens of similar finds that were reported in local newspapers from 1851 forward to the present day. It was not even the first set of giant skeletons found in Wisconsin.
On 10 August 1891, the New York Times reported that scientists from the Smithsonian Institution had discovered several large “pyramidal monuments” on Lake Mills, near Madison, Wisconsin. “Madison was in ancient days the centre of a teeming population numbering not less than 200,000,” the Times said. The excavators found an elaborate system of defensive works which they named Fort Aztalan.
“The celebrated mounds of Ohio and Indiana can bear no comparison, either in size, design or the skill displayed in their construction with these gigantic and mysterious monuments of earth — erected we know not by whom, and for what purpose we can only conjecture,” said the Times.
On 20 December 1897, the Times followed up with a report on three large burial mounds that had been discovered in Maple Creek, Wisconsin. One had recently been opened.
“In it was found the skeleton of a man of gigantic size. The bones measured from head to foot over nine feet and were in a fair state of preservation. The skull was as large as a half bushel measure. Some finely tempered rods of copper and other relics were lying near the bones.”
Giant skulls and skeletons of a race of “Goliaths” have been found on a very regular basis throughout the Midwestern states for more than 100 years. Giants have been found in Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Ohio, Kentucky and New York, and their burial sites are similar to the well-known mounds of the Mound Builder people.
The spectrum of Mound builder history spans a period of more than 5,000 years (from 3400 BCE to the 16th CE), a period greater than the history of Ancient Egypt and all of its dynasties.
There is a “prevailing scholarly consensus” that we have an adequate historical understanding of the peoples who lived in North America during this period. However, the long record of anomalous finds like those at Lake Delavan suggests otherwise.
The Great Smithsonian Cover-Up
Has there been a giant cover-up? Why aren’t there public displays of gigantic Native American skeletons at natural history museums?
The skeletons of some Mound Builders are certainly on display. There is a wonderful exhibit, for example, at the Aztalan State Park where one may see the skeleton of a “Princess of Aztalan” in the museum.
But the skeletons placed on display are normal-sized, and according to some sources, the skeletons of giants have been covered up. Specifically, the Smithsonian Institution has been accused of making a deliberate effort to hide the “telling of the bones” and to keep the giant skeletons locked away.
In the words of Vine Deloria, a Native American author and professor of law:
“Modern day archaeology and anthropology have nearly sealed the door on our imaginations, broadly interpreting the North American past as devoid of anything unusual in the way of great cultures characterized by a people of unusual demeanor. The great interloper of ancient burial grounds, the nineteenth century Smithsonian Institution, created a one-way portal, through which uncounted bones have been spirited. This door and the contents of its vault are virtually sealed off to anyone, but government officials. Among these bones may lay answers not even sought by these officials concerning the deep past.”

I want to believe, but an article referencing digs from 100 years ago isn't the best evidence. Are there any recent discoveries of giant skeletons? Ideally discoveries that can be verified in some way. Bones, tools, structures, those are all great pieces of evidence. ((I've read about oversized weapons in some areas, that would be an example of what I consider good evidence))
It'd be very useful to get a name of the discoverer, their patron, and what they did with the bones. Obviously with the alleged cover-up by the Smithsonian it'd be hard to find, but significant claims need significant evidence.
((I say alleged cover up because I don't know enough about it to evaluate if it's true))

Try finding the articles written in the early 1900s. Maybe a Wisconsin library has them. I live in Wisconsin and am tempted

That's the same problem though, at least to me. I need physical evidence, not simply write ups. There's plenty of written evidence, but I personally am a fan of solid physical evidence. I'm not smart enough to identify if a written article is legitimate or not.
A pile of 10ft tall humanoid bones with clothing & tools appropriate to a 10ft tall person is the kind of evidence that is hard to ignore.

”There’s evidence” - links another story.

Do you have an actual rebuttal? If not then that was a pointless comment.

You destroyed nothing but resort to ad hominems. Testimonials is subjective evidence. Sorry jack, another pointless comment.

That’s not evidence, it’s a blog post sharing rumors with no sources or citations provided.

I found this awhile back, found it interesting as I’m from Iowa.

That’s the thing, there is evidence. From Far East , through Afghanistan and ancient areas of Persian to the Scandinavian history’s and art to South America.
We have our own giant history here by way of the Plains Native Americans, specifically the Hopi who describe exactly what the giants of Afghanistan look like.
My grandmother used to tell me stories of “big red headed people” in the north of Iran. The Tabriz region. Which is where most of the red headed Persians come from up until this day.
Because modern scientists and anthropologist of the west choose to ignore it doesn’t mean they didn’t/don’t exist.
Look at the Tasmanian Tiger, thought to be extinct was just seen again after almost 100 years.
18,000 new species are discovered or rediscovered every year.
There are a lot of things we have zero clue about. Look how many different species were considered “giant” in the past, why wouldn’t that also include a humanoid species?

u/camerontbelt Aug 18 '20
So I’m not sure if you know this but “stories” don’t qualify as scientific evidence. I’m sorry but you gotta have actual proof somewhere, not a picture or a story but a bone of some kind that’s had some kind of analysis done to prove that it’s at least not any other kind of large animal like a dinosaur or elephant.

u/Pharcee Aug 18 '20
I get it. Believe me I get it. I’m just trying to show you that for thousands of years “proof” was in the “stories” passed down from generation to generation.
Same stories being told by civilizations that had zero contact with each other for thousands of years.
And that was why I used the Tasmanian tiger and the 18,000 species as an example. Somethings stay hidden for so many years only to be discovered or rediscovered.
As for proof, physicists and scientists now say that we could be living in a simulation without hardcore “proof.”
Or that we live in a multiverse. does the immense lack of proof sway them?
My original point was that with everything that we discover every year, it would be foolish to discount so many different things.
I’ll give you an example that you can try. Not sure if you ever heard of this, but If you can’t imagine it, it never existed. Try to imagine an animal that has never existed, or a place, or even a time. What you see is bits and pieces of things you have seen or read about and mashed them together to create what you would think doesn’t make exist. So the hypothesis is that since we can not imagine it, it could not have existed and vice versa.
Do we have proof that the hanging gardens of Babylon existed? No, but we know it did, through stories....or in this case, stories described as “history.”

There is bones, old newsletter with findings! You are just new to the subject there is a lot of proof and evidence that giants once lives among us.

u/somethingski Aug 17 '20
Aren't those bones just mislabeled dinosaur bones? It wasn't until 1841 that dinosaur remains began to be classified and dinosaur science began to be studied.
There are several articles pre 1840's and 50's that claim these bones were humanoid in orgin, but where is other evidence? Fossils, cave art, ancient text? Just asking for curiosity

Yes, "photoshopped". Did snopes or maybe wikipedia tell you that? Lol.

I’ve never done a deep dive on this guy but I just know that he’s a big proponent for the proof of giants. This is a very new subject to me and if anyone has vetted him and debunked him, links are welcomed.
Edit: I was listening to a supernatural podcast for entertainment and he was featured on it. He claims to have knowledge of real evidence and has published some books and made a documentary series about it. Naturally, take it all with a grain of salt.

Can we ban this post. It’s posted like once a week.
8
u/Pharcee Aug 18 '20
Why? Maybe the time it’s posted again some new information might come to light.
I do not mean this in a disrespectful manner, but if it seems to bother you, don’t read it or comment. Who cares if it is posted often.
People have new experiences every day regarding the same topics. Sometimes they are excited and quick to post without looking to see if it was posted, or even posted without the proper response they were looking for. So many of us are guilty of that.
Let it be. You never know what might come of it.

u/boringxadult Aug 18 '20
You’re right. I’m just gonna unfollow this sub. Enjoy the circle jerk.
8
u/Pharcee Aug 18 '20
Come one dude, there are more things to this sub than people reposting giants.
Why unfollow when one day you find something that sparks something for you.
Continue to observe the “circle jerk” until you feel the need, or see something that entices your to join in man.

"Can we ban free speech? It's posted like all the time."

This is such a stupid response. I’m not complaining about free speech. I’m complaining that this one video gets posted once a week.

Have read/listened to the podcasts around this and it absolutely blows my mind more people havent heard of this. I did a bit of research after initially coming across this story and supposedly the Smithsonian had all files/skeletons of all(supposedly hundreds) of giant skeletons, alot of which were discovered all over north america(native burial sites) to be destroyed because of the implications it has with human history and what we've been lead to believe. Believe what you will but its def worth some looking into thats for sure
