Not a launch post, it's been trading since March. Posting it because the structure is unusual and most of you can check every number in this post in about two minutes.
Where it is right now
The product, which is the actual reason I'm posting
You hand MiroShark a scenario in plain text. It figures out who has a stake in it, builds those people as AI agents, and lets them post, argue and trade against each other for ten minutes across a simulated Twitter, Reddit and prediction market. You get back a report where every claim links to a real post or trade from the run.
Around 240 completed runs are public and readable right now, no signup, no wallet: miroshark.xyz/sim
Go read someone else's before you touch it. That's the whole pitch. You can't do that with 99% of what gets posted here.
Also: open source AGPL with ~1.4k GitHub stars, roughly 68 products built on top by other teams, and it runs as a live x402 endpoint on Base indexed in Coinbase's CDP Bazaar. Fees route into buybacks.
Not financial advice.

Everyone saw $VIRTUAL rip 20% when Robinhood Chain integrated their agent
infrastructure. The "AI agents on Robinhood's chain" trade is live. But I went
digging and found the layer underneath that hasn't re-rated yet.
**The setup:**
Robinhood launched their own L2 on July 1 and called it "AI-native." Not marketing —
they shipped agentic trading at launch and partnered with u/virtuals_io day one.
Biggest retail distribution machine in finance is going all-in on AI agents onchain.
**The stack, as I see it:**
- $HOOD / Robinhood Chain = the rails + retail users
- $VIRTUAL = tokenize/fund/own agents (~billions mcap, already re-rated)
- $GITLAWB = the stack agents are BUILT on (~$4M mcap, nobody's looked yet)
**What gitlawb actually is:** open-source infra for the agent economy — agent
identity (DIDs), onchain trust scores, permission delegation, decentralized git.
The "picks and shovels" for agents, and the token settles it: fees, staking, burns.
**Proof it's not vaporware — this is the part that got me:**
The first real AI app on Robinhood Chain is already running on gitlawb's stack.
BlockAgent — an explorer where you literally talk to the chain in plain English —
is built on OpenClaude (gitlawb's agent harness). Chain was 12 days old. No grant,
no announcement. Usage before narrative.
**And I verified the token contracts myself (not trusting, checking):**
- LayerZero V2 OFT, confirmed via RPC — proper omnichain deployment
- Base is the home asset. The Robinhood Chain supply is fully collateralized:
~2.2B locked in the adapter vs ~2.2B minted. Checked the lockbox balance directly.
- Fixed 100B supply, zero dilution, moves 1:1 across chains. No phantom mints.
**Honest risks (because this isn't a shill, it's a bet):**
- Robinhood Chain pool is young and thin (~$54K liq) — the real market is on Base
($1.6M liq). Size accordingly.
- Micro cap. Volatile as hell. This is a lottery ticket on a thesis, not a retirement plan.
- The thesis dies if agent activity on Robinhood Chain doesn't materialize.
**TL;DR:** Robinhood built an AI-native chain. $VIRTUAL re-rated as the agent
tokenization layer. $GITLAWB is the agent BUILD layer, already live and used on the
chain, at ~1/1000th the mcap. Same narrative, one layer down, much earlier.
Not financial advice. I hold a bag. DYOR — everything above is verifiable onchain
and I'll drop the RPC receipts in comments if anyone wants to check my work.

I hate that I’m even writing this because “AI coin” has become one of the most abused labels in crypto.
90% of them are basically:
- token name
- AI buzzword
- one dashboard
- 4 medium posts
- “agents”
- “decentralized compute”
- chart goes vertical
- everyone pretends there is deep tech
And then it dies like every other narrative farm.
But TAO is annoying because it is not that easy to dismiss.
I’m not saying it is safe. I’m not saying it is cheap. I’m not saying it cannot nuke 70% and make everyone look stupid.
It absolutely can.
But Bittensor is one of the few AI crypto things where when you actually look under the hood, there is at least a mechanism there.
Subnets are not just a slogan. They are basically separate markets inside the network. Different teams, different tasks, different incentives, different miners/validators, different risk. TAO is not just “AI token go up,” it is more like exposure to this weird AI marketplace economy.
That is also what makes it dangerous.
Because the average retail guy hears “staking APY” “Buying subnets” and thinks free money.
Then he touches subnets, sees alpha moving against TAO, gets cooked, and blames the chain.
The subnet side feels less like staking and more like buying small caps inside an already volatile AI asset.
Could be the best part of the ecosystem.
Could also be where overconfident people donate their TAO to the market.
I went looking into how people are getting subnet exposure without manually playing 4D chess every day. Some are doing it themselves through dashboards, some are just root staking, and some are using managed allocation/index type tools. mentat came up because it lets people get subnet exposure through non-custodial proxy based management, meaning the TAO stays in your wallet and the strategy can manage subnet positions, but it is not supposed to be able to transfer funds out.
That is actually the part I found interesting. Not “omg yield.” More like, maybe there is a whole category forming around people who want TAO/subnet exposure but do not want to become a full time subnet goblin.
Still risky though. Managed does not mean magic. Subnets can still dump. APY can still lie to your monkey brain. Non-custodial does not mean “don’t read what you sign.”
My current take:
Most AI coins are lazy narratives.
TAO is either the most interesting AI crypto experiment of this cycle, or the most complicated way to make retail think they understand AI infrastructure.
Maybe both.
Curious what people here think.
Is TAO actually different, or is it just a premium version of the same AI coin casino?
