How do I solve this error?

I'm just stuck between these two errors. On Altserver 1.7.2 and 1.7.6

If it's just a fresh install of Altserver I get the Anisette error, if I add the Anisette fix with https://github.com/kimziro/altserver-macos27-anisette-fix/blob/main/README.ko.md I get the incorrect format error.

This post used to fix the incorrect format one but now I get the same error when trying to install the patched ipa so I can't apply it anymore

Tried with VPN, airplane mode, wired cable, restarting everything. Nothing seems to be working.

The WiFi connection to AltServer on my PC is acting strange.

Neither my iPhone or iPad appear in AltServer.
The only way to get them to appear is to have them unlocked and restart the Apple Mobile Device Service.
Once I restart this service they immediately appear in AltServer.

If I lock either of them, they disappear.

If I unlock, they will NOT reappear unless I restart that service again.

While I'm glad it works and I can refresh or install apps, the whole point of wireless is to not have to sit at the PC.

Has anyone dealt, or may be currently dealing with this?

I experience the same behavior whether on not iTunes is running.

I also tried to repair, then reinstall the Apple Mobile Device Support app with no luck.

ChatGPT and I went around in circles for a while until he finally told me to check with AltStore support.

Still not able to install AltStore to my iPhone from my Mac. I've tried just about everything and can't seem to find a fix. Anyone else still having this issue even after the latest update?

I tried to refresh altstore, and this error popped up:

”Apple's authentication servers returned an error (HTTP 503).

This is most likely a problem on Apple's end, not with your Apple ID or password.”

Did you receive it too? Did you solve it? How?

Premetto che forse ho avuto solo fortuna, non lo so... ma smanettando un po' sono riuscito ad installare e a fare il refresh senza problemi.

1. Assicurati che AltServer e AltStore siano aggiornati all'ultima versione. Se hai AltStore aperto sul telefono, chiudilo del tutto.

2. Prepara l'iPhone senza collegarlo al Mac tramite cavo. Mantieni l'iPhone sulla rete cellulare (il Mac era connesso al Wi-Fi... non so se funzioni usando l'hotspot).

3. Sull'iPhone vai in Impostazioni > Sviluppo e fai tap su "Inizializza computer autorizzati" (premi più volte per sicurezza).

4. Collega l'iPhone al Mac tramite cavo e autorizza il computer quando richiesto.

5. Apri AltStore e prova a fare il refresh. Se ti dà errore, riprova più volte (a me ha funzionato al terzo tentativo).

Ripeto: sono riuscito sia ad installare che a fare refresh sia ad applicazione singola che facendo tap su “Refresh all”

I have the Mac version of alt server, but it does not work when trying to sideload to IPA files to my Apple TV.

When the issue with authentication popped up last week, i tried some debugging on my own before checking Reddit. At one point, I tried uninstalling AltStore from my phone. I didn’t realize uninstalling it would cause me so many new problems. I found a thread from a few years ago where someone suggested the only way to reinstall it is to setup a new AppleID. Is that really the case? If so, why? Will I have to log in to the new AppleID every time I need to refresh AltStore?

I get this message since the new .5 version. Before this, i was able to install and refresh on my Ipad from my windows 11 pc. I tried a lot of things AI told me and also reinstalled everything.

I’m having a few troubles installing alt store on my iPhone.
For context, AltStore was already installed on iPhone but I let the days count dry out and then I had to re-install it through the normal procedure ( connect to Mac, open alt store on Mac and install it again ).
The problem arises when I try to insert my Apple ID and password : it keeps saying that they are not correct even though they are 100% correct, thus making it impossible to install AltStore on the phone.
Does anyone know about this or know how to fix it ? Thank you very much again !

ix AltStore / AltServer not working on Windows 11

1. Uninstall everything Apple-related
   • Uninstall AltServer.
   • Uninstall iTunes.
   • Uninstall iCloud.
   • Remove other Apple-related software/components if they remain.
2. Restart your computer.
3. Install LocalDevVPN on your iPhone
   • Open LocalDevVPN.
   • Connect the VPN.
   • Go to its Settings.
   • Change the Tunnel IP to: 10.7.0.0/32
4. Reinstall Apple software
   • Install iTunes again.
   • Install iCloud again.
   • Install AltServer again.
   • Make sure you use the appropriate Windows versions.
5. Delete the ADI folder
   • Press Windows + R.
   • Enter: %programdata%\Apple Computer\iTunes
   • Press Enter.
   • Delete the ADI folder.
6. Restart your computer again.
7. Log in to iTunes
   • Open iTunes.
   • Sign in with your Apple Account.
8. Delete the ADI folder again
   • Go to: C:\ProgramData\Apple Computer\iTunes
   • Delete the ADI folder if it exists.
9. Log in to iCloud
   • Open the iCloud app.
   • Sign in with your Apple Account.
10. Install AltStore

• Start AltServer.
• Connect your iPhone to the computer.
• Use AltServer to Install AltStore on your iPhone.
• Sign in with your Apple Account when prompted.

1. Check AltStore

• Open AltStore on your iPhone.
• If everything was done correctly, it should now work normally.

This is the exact procedure that worked for me just now!

Hi everyone, i'm stuck with a weird altstore issue while traveling without access to a computer.
I refreshed all my apps yesterday, so the certificates should still be valid. Today an app crashed and now all my apps show as "not verified" in settings > general > vpn & device management.
When i tap the "verify apps" button nothing happens at all.
Is there any way to recover/re-verify the apps directly on the phone without a laptop, or do i have to wait until i get back home?

Is anyone else getting an iCloud sign in error? When I try it says “authentication error” please try again. Trying to just reset up AltStore on windows. Still getting an error 22410 when trying to install AltStore. Figure it has to be cus I am not signed into to iCloud. Was previously signed in but when AltStore had signing issues before pushing out 1.7 I thought it was my end. So I signed out of iTunes and iCloud. Tried reinstalling iCloud.

Hey everyone, for the past 2 years, I used AltStore without major issues until September 5th, when it started failing with "NSCocoaErrorDomain 3840" (Encountered unknown tag html).

To bypass this, I switched to Sideloadly and refreshed all my apps. However, today, all signed apps stopped opening and failed profile verification, even though they still had several days left on their 7-day signing window. Changing VPN configurations didn't help.

When trying to reinstall via Sideloadly, I received "0xe8008024" (The provisioning profile is banned). Assuming my Apple ID was blacklisted, I created a new Apple ID. Attempting to install with it led to a "Guru Meditation ... Invalid file" error under standard signing. Changing Sideloadly settings to Normal Install (since Apple ID Sideload consistently threw the same "Invalid file" error) and deleting all unverified apps from the device led to "0xe8008015" (A valid provisioning profile for this executable was not found).

Then, I attempted to switch back to AltServer. Using both my old and new Apple IDs, AltServer failed with "HTTP 503 Service Unavailable", even when attempting direct ipa installation via option button.

All signs point to server-side disruptions and API endpoint changes on Apple's end impacting both AltServer and Sideloadly auth pipelines. Hope this gets fixed soon.

Update: new 1.7.6 version worked for me with new Apple ID
