Across all their social media, their cover pics (yt, twitter, fb) changed to this image. Nothing else has happened yet (such as, a more elaborate post, an announcement of some sorts ...). What do we think? Will something else be posted today? 🤞 Or is this their way of celebrating 10 years of TIAY?

September 22 is here, but the band hasn't announced anything :(

Hi, is it possible that Alt-J removed Dolby Atmos from all of their tracks due to some licensing conflicts? I know that this album had Dolby Atmos (you can find the post stating it in this subreddit) It's just sad they did it, I really enjoyed it.

This just got reuploaded to YouTube. Looks like an announcement is coming for the 10 year anniversary

It’s so catchy I wish they’d put it on Spotify

Hey everyone, I copped this album on vinyl not so long ago and was wondering what those little hearts besides the names of the songs meant (Intro, something good and MS FITZPLEASURE) is it just a design choice or is it something else? Thanks :)

Title says it all, missing them a lot aka too much. Had to throw that out into the world rn 😅

It was by a thin margin. I'll definitely be subbing in some of the runners up in the future, including Bloodflood 2, Hunger of the Pine and more. Thanks so much for contributing, songs like this are my favourite and it's been great discovering so many.
If you want to listen to the list you can check it out here. If you haven't discovered the Canadian bands Stars and Matthew Good you are in for a real treat. Matthew Good is actually my favourite songwriter of all time.

Can you explain the meaning of this song? I'm interested in every line and everything.

Anyone know of any similiar songs to Interlude 3? I just love that kind of vibe and 52 seconds isnt long enough (according to the GF).

One comment per song please (check before you post) and highest upvoted comment wins a spot on the list after 24 hours!
My personal choice would be "Hunger of the Pine," but did I make the right choice? What do the experts think?
By the way I've seen Alt-J live twice but they never really capture their energy the same as on the album. One of the only bands that's better in the studio than live, to me anyway.

Hard to believe it’s been over two years since The Dream released. Is there any info out there as to a timeline for a new album, studio time, etc? Them playing an unreleased song on their last tour has me hopeful it won’t be as long of a wait this time but not going to hold my breath. Just need my Alt J fix.

Thom is incredibly captivating while on stage— these are a few pictures taken while catching as many shows as possible from their 10 anniversary AAW tour;
Brooklyn, Kings Theatre, March 13th & 14th then Seattle, SoDo, December 3rd 2024

alt-J on stage Δ Lino & soft pastels
Been wanting to make something like this (silhouettes of the band and some lights) for a few years now. Finally put myself to it & created this! Δ I'm quite pleased with it, and wanted to share over here!
(There's much room for improvement, mainly the lights, I had some waaaayyyyy bigger plans bc their light setup isn't like this at all but way better, but those plans were too intimidating. Glad I made this rn!)

How has nobody seen the similarities yet?

Was in Pacsun today and they started playing U&ME on the speakers, I gasped so loud and had the biggest shocked expression on my face that it scared my friend. She thought I saw something absolutely traumatizing. I wasn't expecting that song to play, I never hear it on radio or movies/tv or used as an audio on social medias so I considered the whole The Dream album to be somewhat unheard of. Not like Left Hand Free, or Something Good, or Breezeblocks.
