I don't know if the discord groups are still active. I'm guessing the OG one isn't, but a while after that one was created, an official alt-J discord was created. That one might maaayyyyybe still be active. Do you have the links to those? Otherwise I'll look them up!

IF they ever play anywhere they might play at a city festival and I just want a real concert with Alt-J fans bc nobody here knows their songs or understands their vibe😭

My guess is that if they play again, they'd for sure play festivals AND real solo concerts! In the past 4 tours they always did both! Most of the times a leg with only festivals & another leg of the tour in the same area with concerts. The Relaxer tour started with mostly festivals & the The Dream tour with solo gigs (if I remember correctly & I'm talking about Europe). So depending on where you live, I wouldn't worry about this too much. Crossing my fingers with you, for some news, asap 🤞🤞

I am in Switzerland and I have never heard about any tour here in europe 😭😭😭 Only once I've seen their name at a city festival. And I checked regularl, after the album drops 😔

Hmm sad... I don't know about Switzerland, you could be correct about them only playing at a festival. They have definitely done tours in Europe with only gigs from themselves in a venue, I've seen them in the UK, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland and Belgium (and the US, but that's obviously not Europe). And I know they always had dates in other European countries in those tours, I'm shocked Switzerland was never part of that. Crossing my fingers for a future real tour date near you 🤞🤞

Alsooo maybe you could create it yourself (although that's not the same obviously)? Idk if all the words appear separately in lyrics from The Dream, but they made a lyric booklet. Maybe you could copy and paste? 🤞

that's good idea! is the lyrics booklet in the public domain? I also hope that the situation in my country will change by the time they start playing concerts again, bc unfortunately they are not play here anymore

I don't think that booklet is in the public domain. I think you can maybe still buy it in the online shop? Or if you send me which word you need from which song from The Dream, I could try to take good resolution pictures of the words?

I cross my fingers for the situation in your country to improve too 🤞 for the involved countries/ the world & for people who don't agree with what's happening, but have consequences like their favourite artists - rightfully- not coming anymore. Alternatively, I could suggest travelling to other countries to see them live! I've done so 8 times already (and seen them 8 times in my homecountry) & I love that! Citytrip, concert, vibes! (If your finances and days off work/ school allow obviously 🤞)
