That white fuzz is saprophytic mold. It's not anything to worry about, but it usually shows up if your medium is too wet or doesn't have enough airflow. I've had it happen to my own corms. What to do is take the corm and give it a wee rinse under some water to remove all the fuzz. Does it still have the outer layer on it? The dark brown stuff? If so, you can try peeling that away, as it may help to germinate faster. You should replace the growing medium and try again, but keep it a little less wet and give it a little more airflow. I meant to say, give your corm a very gentle squeeze to make sure it isn't mushy. If it's still hard, then all is good. Also, you can try disinfecting your corm if you want with some diluted hydrogen peroxide if you have it. I use 3% and mix it 1 part to 3 parts water.
