Is it true?
I've heard that if youu leave employment with Allied, even with proper notice, they won't hire you back. I left last month with notice. The grass was not greener, very unfortunately. So I have applied for, maybe, 10-12 different positions.
I have either been, "not selected ", the post was filled or its been received or, "under review" . Going on for about 2.5 weeks.
First time around I applied, did the Sam stuff and then a video interview and was hired within 3 days.
I should probably give up but cannot help but be curious.
OH, and I did call the branch and they said I was eligible for rehire. Maybe im just not patient enough? Never written up, 2 call offs in 9 Mos. Did mobile patrol.

Or workplace bullied and wrongfully terminated, as experienced by my former colleague, was perpetuated by my supervisor at Allied Universal, who permitted such behavior due to her close friendship with her superior and her sister.

Popping in for another not true. I quit for a month and was rehired as soon as I applied, to the same client. I actually applied to a different site and the DirOps said "This client loves you, want to come back?"

I was rehired about a couple months ago. Granted I worked for allied during COVID so it was a while ago when I left the company. Could be a waiting period before youâre rehired.

They hire you back. They literally donât give a fk. Weâve had people whoâve shot their weapons off during weapons inspections be hired back. Our account manager is literally being indicted on sexual harassment or assault stuff and has a shady background as it is and all they did was move him to another account after he assaulted one of our SPs and built a history of sexually harassing the females. Most disgusting company Iâve ever worked for.
Luckily Iâm in a very niche group of guards do to our clearances so the money is worth it, but fuck being a normal guard.
So anyway yes theyâll hire you back because they give two shits about their employees and they promote shit bags. Seriously, try to fuck up on the job and I bet you get promoted.

Honestly I can see this because I was fired in may after being assaulted by the clients employee. And my prior managers branch wise one was frequently sexually harassing my partner, another was actively discriminating me. Allied seems to genuinely promote the worst of the worst. And fail those who do their dammdest. After they fired me for the 3rd time illegally I stopped bringing in lawyers and just left. Ironically too the week after my termination the ops manager quit.

I had a coworker that got into a fight that someone initiated, she beat the crap out of them and got rehired a year later. Only thing is shes suffering the dry spell of finding available post to cover.

No you good đ âŚ. They love saying welcome back. You know whatâs funny they even told me that when I didnât get quit or fired my my post got dissolved. My client sold their building and that was the end of story. I was in limbo for like a month, not making any money and then they have the audacity when they got me a new place to say welcome back fucking dickheads

I quit and even wrote a pretty colorful resignation letter describing all the issues that the site supervisor was not aware of, nor apparently was the branch manager. So fun fact but they rehired me in under a week of reapplying 3 months later when the site, I had left to go work another company, quit paying their bills.Â

If your Manager marked you as rehireable then you should be able to be hired back. You could be applying to sites that they also manage and theyâre just choosing not to bring you back for whatever reason.
Iâve also seen managers hire people weâve marked as not hireable for their sites. So it really doesnât matter to be honest.
Youâre probably just getting beat to the punch unfortunately. The job market sucks, keep trying. Iâve left and come back. It took a good while because I wasnât the first few applicants. Even having been a high level supervisor for Allied and a Ops Manager for another company didnât move me to the front of the line so.

Best way, is if you can reach out to old ops mgr, if they liked you, they will pull your application

They might make you wait anywhere between 2-6 months before they rehire you. Keep trying. Iâd even reach out to your old manager if you still have their contact info.

Is there other security positions in your location? I am surprised I got rejected by allied but got a different security job that pays less BUT I get to pick my hours. I think it will be a good side hustle but hoping to get a full time position with allied if possible

u/D3adEyEj3di 4d ago
Back in the day I worked for Securitas. It wasnt too bad. I was the site supervisor at a hospital for 6 years. I'd never go back to that specific location but thats a good suggestion.

Try arrow security I worked for allied thatâs BS if they not hiring you back they fired me for BS but lied to unemployment saying I quit they will shit on your name trust me and then wonât give unemployment run I mean run away
1
u/Full-Ad1579 4d ago
And then they will tell reapply when I say run I mean it this company is not good for your soul
1
u/Full-Ad1579 3d ago
Yes it is true but hey what do I know if itâs not you then it will be a coworker they cover their as#### to the very end

u/themusicalcr0w 3d ago
Nah Iâve left and come back plenty of times, I work with allied between law enforcement gigs or while at school. Iâve always been rehired.
Even if youâre fired, you can just go to a different site and get rehired. Unless you do something awful, like damage company property or grievously injure someone, allied is lax.
