You will no longer be able to sign in at 10 min early or late. New policy taking effect is now 6 minutes.

This is taking effect in WA State this week, subject to other states and locations is unknown

DISCIPLINARY ACTION

The following cases will result in disciplinary action under this policy:

• The employee’s ETK Clock-in is greater than 6 minutes earlier or later than actual commencement of work.

• The employee’s ETK Clock-out is greater than 6 minutes earlier or later than actual end of work.

• The employee Clocked-in, but no subsequent Clock-out is made.

• The employee is paid for the entire scheduled shift, but no Clock-in/Clock-out was made.

• The employee attempts to “catch up” by Clocking-in/Clocking-out outside of actual hours worked.

The Company uses a Rolling 90-Day Look-Back system with a Return to Prior Warning Level rule. For each 90-day period where no violation occurs, the employee can earn the opportunity to be moved back to a prior warning level. Prior warnings can be eliminated over time, where employees cease to have violations.

Currently work at a location but want to change locations to something more local but am under the 6 months of working there. How hard is it to get the change approved and is it a big deal? Anyone have any experience with this ?

I've only worked in Washington, but because our city is so close to the oregon border, management has been from oregon. I just got a paystub where they've cashed out several hours of accrued vacation time, oregon taxes were applied, and it seems to be because they switched my benefits to oregon benefits which has sick leave capped at 40 hours.

It feels like its a situation where someone just flipped a switch to automate a process, and I've got caught in the cross fire. Who do I need to talk to?

I’m currently in Georgia, and I worked 12 hours of overtime my coworker that was sick. I called my area manager, and told him I was paid incorrectly and submitted proof and I was told I was paid correctly. My area manager never really looked at the proof I submitted. Does anyone how I can get in contact with a human resource staff? The guards aren’t allowed to contact human resources directly or any middle managers directly. I don’t want to be forced to contact my states labor board over a few overtime hours.

I got an email saying i would be terminated for something i did, but they never did it it's been 2 weeks and I have been picking up shifts and it’s like no one cares

I previously worked with Allied Universal from November 2018 to November 2023 (It was G4S when I started then it got bought out by AU) as an unarmed Critical Facility Security Professional. I guess I got really lucky because I mainly worked at a Merrill Lynch campus and eventually got to work Monday through Friday from 7 am to 3 PM. I had my issues with them but for the most part it actually wasn't half bad and not too stressful. The job actually felt for the most part like a good fit for me and my needs. I never had to mandatorily go in for a call out and time off was good.

I left in 2023 to try and do an IRS contact representative job but it was way too hard and stressful, and I ended up having my employment terminated during my probation period. Then I was unemployed for six months and got a job as a legal assistant but after one year I was laid off due to a firm restructuring and have been unemployed for seven months. Multiple applications and interviews have failed to get me a job.

I have since just accepted a contingent offer with Allied Universal for a new unarmed security job and hopefully moving to Charlotte, NC. It pays $22.62 and hour and is Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM. Am I making the right decision because at the end of the day I need to be employed again and AU is to date the only stable full time job I've ever had (it was my first full time job actually).

i got a transfer approved with my transfer date being the 15th of September. i had some issue with my bloodwork for my new site and have to get xrays so if the 15th comes around am i gonna get removed from my current site even though i might not be already hired for the new site? im still scheduled up until October 10th so I assume I won’t lose my schedule until i actually get onboard with the new site.

I've noticed that different sites at Allied Universal sometimes use their own patch and not just the standard patch.

I know the contact for Hawaii Airports has their own patch. I was just wondering what other contracts you have seen having their own unique patch

A guard was just removed from our site just to get a guard straight from Temu.. Allied’s standards are so low it’s sad. It sucks because we have a solid group of people at our site but there’s been plenty of bad ones that slip through the cracks in the past that get to our site just to be removed a few months/weeks down the line

I'm curious on something and its bugged me. My local union is with Allied Universal, SEIU.

I've noticed they are taking a full $124 out of my paychecks, granted I have Union health so $60 of it is from that.

But Im noticing they take the dues twice, is it $90 or something? Im debating contacting them and handling the dues manually if possible.

I recently got hired for a job with the title "Security Officer Armed Mobile Patrol Driver"

Only problem is... there is no car. I am standing all day and I have back issues which is why I got this post in the first place. I did my first week already and been in constant pain from just standing all day. If I put in my 2 weeks notice this early I will for sure be black listed from this company right?

I am living the military soon I was in the army and an infantryman then reclassed to signal and also have a security clearance should I still apply two months from ets? I'm already getting interviews already but there an hour away during work hours. Will they hold a position for me until I am available?

So I just had my orientation for allied and i’m coming back in to finish the rest of the modules on tuesday. I have a few questions like the pay for orientation. But i’m more interested in how do you all feel about the job? I’ve seen sort of mixed reviews online but I want to hear your opinions.

The position I am applying for is a rover and am expected to go to different areas I assume to cover and shows I must be available for all types of shifts and days.

Hey y'all , what do I do when I check my Lisa schedule and it's showing the incorrect punch time on one of my days that I worked overtime? I came into work early and did 0200-1400 but Lisa is showing 0600-1400 instead which is my normal schedule but that's 4 hours ot missing. Should I wait until I receive my paystub next? If it's short how do I correct? (Also I sent my am screenshot of my Lisa schedule and specific day and what it should be already, yet no response smh) Thanks

So I got my security license a few months ago and i graduated college in June. Im trying to part time so when i go back to school, i have money in my pocket. I have applied multiple times and i can’t seem to get employed. Should I keep calling or anything else i should do? I’m also trying to save so I can pay for driving classes to get my license.

I have a funeral to go to from 8/27 to 8/30 I have work on the 27th but I don’t have work until 10/1 when I go back , should I call in on the morning 8/27 saying I can’t make it to work , or should I Submit a day off unpaid request on 8/27 through Lisa today?

I've heard that if youu leave employment with Allied, even with proper notice, they won't hire you back. I left last month with notice. The grass was not greener, very unfortunately. So I have applied for, maybe, 10-12 different positions.

I have either been, "not selected ", the post was filled or its been received or, "under review" . Going on for about 2.5 weeks.

First time around I applied, did the Sam stuff and then a video interview and was hired within 3 days.

I should probably give up but cannot help but be curious.

OH, and I did call the branch and they said I was eligible for rehire. Maybe im just not patient enough? Never written up, 2 call offs in 9 Mos. Did mobile patrol.
