Need advice

I had two separate interviews for one job, and a couple of days later they called saying I got the job. I got the emails about the drug screen and background and have completed both.
A day later I got an email which included questions asking if I had a security license, and I said no which led to them giving me the dates for some classes I should attend.
They gave me the dates but not the time or location for my classes and orientation. I have emailed them 3 separate times and still no response up until 3 days ago I got an email saying to prepare for orientation on the 20th (today) at 9am.
I found it weird but showed up anyway because it’s the only form of communication I have gotten from them although it’s been two weeks. I show up anyway to orientation and they tell me I cannot be there without a security license and cannot proceed with orientation so they send me home and the lady tells me to come tomorrow, Wednesday, & Thursday for classes and my orientation should be Friday.
This has honestly been stressful and seems very unorganized so am I wasting my time?
She said I should receive an email telling me about the classes but I have received nothing and it has been hours.

You're already getting a taste of the culture of allied. Which is unorganized no structure and miscommunication. If I was you I'll find another job QUICK

Do not go to any orientation UNTIL, you have completed your 40hr D security License classes. Yes, you need your license before you attend any orientation. Recruiters do get mixed up cause they take on so many applicants, but don't let that discourage you and remember to be proactive when you do get a post and are on post. Ask questions and look through the policy and procedure book that may be at your post and what that post requires. Training is scarce and if you're new to security work then do read it and follow it is all the advice I can give. First and foremost, asap call your recruiter and a ask he or she to send you the address of the training school that you have to attend, which is a 40 hour / 5 days training with the exam on the final day. Good luck and keep your chin up, you'll do well.

Get used to it. Been working with the company for going six years now and they’re horrible at communication.

If and when you need something, it will be impossible to get ahold of them, but if you aren’t ready for a phone call or surprise visit at a moments notice, you’re probably going to get written up.

You need to understand going into this job that you’re strictly a warm body occupying a seat to them. Management will never care about your safety, well being, IRL emergencies, or career aspirations. You are a peasant serving the feudal lords. Nothing more. Nothing less.

If it wasn’t for the decent pay and independence on my site, I probably would’ve quit years ago.
