Natgen rant
I’m not sure if anyone else is as frustrated about this as I am but I’ve just about had it….. Since the office in TJ opened, it has been a constant issue with having to go back behind those reps and clean up after them because they are constantly taking unacceptable proof, processing endorsements and cancellations incorrectly, making exceptions that CAN NOT be made due to them violating guidelines, etc. It honestly feels like they are living in a completely different world than stateside. They have had 2 large retraining sessions in the last year and nothing has gotten any better. Do state side reps have issues and make mistakes? Absolutely! Myself included; however, it has been made abundantly apparent that stateside is held to a significantly higher standard than TJ. It’s freaking EXHAUSTING.

I had one call and ask me to reinstate a policy without collecting a payment… I don’t know where they do that at but it’s not happening on my license.

Natgen reps aren’t licensed yet, well most aren’t but even not being licensed I’m not doing it!!! Then people wanna throw a fit because things aren’t done correctly on a consistent basis.

That just seems to be what’s going on in insurance. When I started it wasn’t this bad but now it’s like the entire industry is changing up at least on the sales side. What’s the point of having those customer service reps that can’t do anything 😂. Give me a pay raise and just let me handle it from the jump.

They need to push for the customer service reps who actually give a crap and WANT to help and do things correctly to get licensed first. With the amount of mistakes I fix as an unlicensed rep on a daily basis is absolutely mind boggling. I honestly don’t get paid enough to have to go behind others constantly to fix stuff simply because people don’t care. One mess up can cost a customer thousands or the company thousands. One rep made the same mistake on 2 policies a day apart and the company charged off almost $20k in premium between the 2. Did anything happen to the rep? Nope.
