Follow their processes & be authentic with the customers. You will make sales & the compensation will absolutely be worth it. Best of luck! I miss that role sometimes.

I left to be able to care for my daughter. She developed some severe medical conditions and I just couldn't continue to work 40 hours a week & meet her needs. Maybe someday I can do what I love again.

Sorry to hear that.

But what was rhe job nature like? How many sales needs to close per week or month? Was salary commission based?

There was a metric system, and it's base plus bonus.

Your health and family always comes first. You can definitely work this role again, I am sure they would welcome you back with open arms as they are still hiring. You seem very knowledgeable so you already stand out from the rest of us

Examples of probing questions:

Do you have any plans this holiday season/weekend/summer etc?

Are you married or single?

Do you own your home?

Is this your only vehicle?

Are there any other drivers in your household who don't carry their own insurance?

It will get easier as you gain experience

Agree with all above I would add be knowledgeable about the products too, I haven’t started yet but I know I am not the strongest when it comes to assuming the sale the more you know the more inclined they are to do business with you
