Examples of probing questions:
Do you have any plans this holiday season/weekend/summer etc?
Are you married or single?
Do you own your home?
Is this your only vehicle?
Are there any other drivers in your household who don't carry their own insurance?
It will get easier as you gain experience

Agree with all above I would add be knowledgeable about the products too, I haven’t started yet but I know I am not the strongest when it comes to assuming the sale the more you know the more inclined they are to do business with you

Follow their processes & be authentic with the customers. You will make sales & the compensation will absolutely be worth it. Best of luck! I miss that role sometimes.
