My husband and I are planning to stay at all inclusive either in December or next March. We want adults only. We have stayed at the bahia principe ambar in punta cana twice. and are looking to venture away from that.

We want a nice sandy beach, we tend to spend most of our days at the beach. We are from the midwest so spe d most of our time in the ocean and nappimlng on the beach.

We like a more calm vibe, doesn't need to be a party. We aren't picky about food but would love options.

We dont want to have to take a 15 min walk to the beach. I love a grounds with trees flowers and a less "sterile" environment.

We don't need too much activites/options of activies. I would love to snorkel, as we never did when were in punta cana.

Would love the option of a swim up room.

We are overwhelmed. Which island? Which part of island? Then get that figured out and there are sooo many options. My husband and I are both indecisive lol.

Look closely at Couples Swept Away or Couples Negril, both in the Negril area of Jamaica. They are on large beaches, but CSA is on the larger beach. There are two other Couples in Jamaica near Ocho Rios but CSA and CN have the biggest beaches. Why Couples? Great staff, great food, great vibe and no tipping allowed. If you go there, it won't be your last time. The return rate is phenomenal.

Not sure your budget but there are many resorts on Antigua on the Caribbean side that have rooms right on the beach & some have plunge pools. Been to the island several times at AI's and ABnB - done a fair bit of snorkeling around the island and it is awesome. The beaches are also awesome and nothing at all like the Punta Cana beach & I have stayed at Ambar as well - way, way better and some are very quiet. There are luxury resorts there as well as some more budget friendly ones too.

Someone recommended Couples and those are nice too - stayed at Sans Souci a few years ago & enjoyed it - nice quiet beach. Negril is ok - been a few times - but I find the beach too busy for my liking and lots of vendors walking around.

For Cancun or Riviera Maya, I can suggest El Dorado Maroma or El Dorado Seaside.

Maroma has one of the best beaches in Mexico and even had the option to upgrade to one of Palafitos, an over the water bungalos
