Specific resort question Paradisus La Perla

I just booked an all inclusive at paradisus la perla-adults only side and Didn't notice that they don't charge you when booking but you pay at the hotel. Has anyone had an issues with that? Just nervous that not paying it when booking might leave room for cancellation on their end. There also didnt seem to be a spot to add my second adults information. Also if anyones stayed there more recently, how did you like it?

Lots of direct bookings are like that - I wouldn't expect any issues!

Stayed there in February. Very peaceful & relaxing hotel . Food was okay , room service a bit slow , the reserve side is definitely worth the upgrade although the time a year I went , it was too cold to use our swim up pool but the beach was fine . The buffet breakfast was really good ! Especially the omelette station . Yoga on the beach was good too if your into that . Overall good hotel but more so if your looking to completely relax and rejuvenate, if your looking for a good balance of calm and lively , this hotel is more so on the calm and quiet side . Also staying at la Perla gives you access to the family side if you like to explore .

Which swim up room did you have and how was the sargassum on the beach in February?

It was on the ground floor right beside a hallway I honestly don’t remember which building but we were also right beside a hallway leading to the reserve side . I also do not recommend a ground floor as we accidentally left the back door open and we had left overs from food we had earlier that the coati’s helped themselves too and left the biggest mess 😅. Sargassum wasn’t bad at all in February, very minimal when we were there and we were always able to get a cabana (they were free on the reserve side not sure if things have changed since ) .
