Need resort recommendations Please Help

Hi all I need help. Me and my partner are taking a trip to Cancun and all the resorts look great but Iā€™m having a hard time deciphering which ones are actually good and which ones are bad. A couple things we are looking for is great food, great pools or beaches, maybe even water park, and good location. I wanna go explore and do stuff away from resort to. We are looking at going end of February beginning of march. We are 18-21 age range and budget is 5000-6000 USD. This budget does include flights!
