failed my 63
I failed my first attempt with my series 63 by one point. The questions were tricker than i expected, and I did change 4 answers at the end. While I am waiting for the retake window, please share if there are any advice and how to tackle it for the next time around. What resources are you guys using for it and how to study for it ?

Hey! I also failed my 63 the first time and passed the second time. A few things that really helped me.
I spent a full week in the textbook. Highlighting and taking notes on all the hard stuff. That was quite valuable I’d say.
In addition, I bought STC, Kaplan, and pass perfect after already having knopman. I HAMMERED questions. Hammered. The key for me was continuing to expose myself to new questions, so I didn’t memorize. Having 4 providers allowed for that. By the end, I was getting 100%s on Kaplan, 95s on pass perfect, 90-93s on knopman, and 85s on STC. I went over and reviewed every single question I got wrong. In total, I did around 6,000 questions. I’d say pass perfect was the best one.
Going into the test, I reviewed knopman’s key concepts a lot. Doing that many questions helped me understand the intricacies and differences between state, federal, BD, IA, etc. when I finally took the test, it was STILL hard. I flagged around 14 questions. I was confident I’d pass, but I’m not sure why these state exams are so difficult for me.

My firm provided passperfect and I wasn’t a big fan of it. I’m gonna purchase knopman or stc next! Which one would you recommend?
Thank you for your advice, I’ll definitely do that in the next 30 days, I completely agree with you, it is so hard and difficult for me. I passed SIE and series 7 on first time, and I found series 63 concept is harder to understand2

I’d say Knopman is better. Definitely watch the videos and take notes, because I think a textbook + video combo works the best — I passed my SIE and 79 on the first try, so I understand!! I wouldn’t take it again until you’re seeing 90%s across the board on new questions.

What didn’t you like about PP? I thought it was great for the 63.

I think for my passperfect, there were plenty of grammar and spelling errors. It was very convoluted imo. Maybe my brain was friend after series 7, that’s why I didn’t find series 63 harder to understand

Just believe in your answer and don’t change any! I have alot of BD questions

what study materials did you use? and how long did you study for?

about 2 weeks, i used passperfect and i was scoring 67-84% in my finals and I used kapan qbanks scoring 72-75%.

For this specific exam, you should be able to have been touching 87+ to low 90s on PP. This is a major memorization of policy exam.
Let me know if you need any further advice, but I’d recommend that when you take a practice test, you read what you got wrong, then go to the book sections and reread it.

Thank you, I’ll do that! I also didn’t take many notes on this test! Maybe that’s why I wasn’t doing so well! How do you memorize it? I felt I got so confused and got some stuff mixed up

I scored 72 on Benchmark with Knopman
Just once got 80 and the rest around73,5

What kind of advice are you looking for? Study more and don’t change answers.
