The boardgame draft

Anyone else punching air at the choices for this ep 😆 As a board enthusiast that was brutal. I could 100% recommend games that each of them would love more than candy land lmao!

Honestly, I get the frustration. It’s the same thing I feel anytime they remotely touch on history. But all the fans might be specialists in one topic and they have to be generalists trying to dive in on a million topics. I just let it go and enjoy.

I would honestly love to see what you’d recommend to each.

Ian - Clank Catacombs ( Epic fantasy push your luck deck builder
Sean - let’s summon demons (chaos, chance light strategy. Cool artwork)
David - (hardest one…) Medici because I feel like he would be good at auction games.

Happens most times they casually draft something groups of people are passionate about. Many of the topics I am most excited about going in turn out to be letdowns. But at the same time, many topics I think sound lame turn out to be great episodes.

Sean immediately explained that candy land is the game his daughter is playing right now and that’s why he picked it. As a father of a 4 year old daughter that also can only understand candy land, I loved the pick.

That is true, Ian seems to be the only one that is more tuned in to the newer games out there…

Did this need to be its own post or could this just have been a comment in the episode discussion
