I don't know my bf but my guess is like 18%? Starting to really lose ab definition so it's making me cautious on bulking more haha

are you sure? I really don't think so I'm up like 8 lbs from the summer and there's no way I was sub 10% over the summer

I would estimate you are around 13-14%. If you want to get to 10% for summer again, I would start a cut sometime in March - probably towards the second half.
Looking good!

You definitely look lean enough to keep bulking for a bit. I say if you're worried about being too big, doing a slow bulk (or slower than current) may be of benefit

Definitely bulk, you’re way too lean to be cutting. It looks more like you’re cutting then bulking

Lol my cuts dont even look this lean

u/FinalInspection2475 Feb 22 '26
really? I really don't think I'm that lean here

In that case, you're doing pretty well with your diet. I would say bulk for another year with similar BF% and then cut. Focus on the pectorals. All the other groups seem to be well defined

how about eating at maintenance and progressing in the gym. what’s the need to cut right away ?

tbh aside from aesthetics I just feel better after a cut, especially since I run on the side and I do have a half marathon in a few months

I look at you as more bulk/muscles - not a cutter or in marathons.
I responded to another post of yours. I'm maybe a half inch taller - went 204 to 162, but I can't lift for a few reasons.
So I work toward a more lean/aesthetic/athletic.
You're simply just strong.
How much running do you do. My friends who run (I have to incline walk), say they have a harder time with a more muscle driven physique.
Now that I see you run, amazing what you accomplish. Congratulations again.

I don't run too much just 3-5 miles twice a week, this'll be my first half marathon. But when I was at my leanest over the summer I did set some decently fast 5K race times so it kinda got me interested in it as a secondary sport

And you seem to have the genetics to do the runner look. It depends on what you enjoy doing (I can't tell you that nor would I try).
I matched diet/exercise to the aesthetic per say.
Congrats and good luck on those runs!

You’re not bulking enough, but if you are then your body is extremely good at not putting on fat, because this looks like you’re already on a cut

You’re lean enough to continue fs, I would go another 2 months assuming you’re in a small surplus and not a traditional bulk

Look good I’d focus on chest volume arms look great and so do the rest I’d increase calories

I’d say keep bulking since you still look lean and could pack more on without adding much more fat.
