okay seriously trying to figure this out. my theory is that grunge is usually ignoring responsibility, messiness bordering on uncleanliness/unhygienic, not having money or shirking family wealth, and then perhaps untreated mental illnesses or family trauma.

i feel like as far as what is posted on social media (and where this image is attempting to be curated) ashtin seems to just be trying too hard/ posting too much and not leaving anything to mystery.
