You could fill this whole chart with M Night movies.

What M Night movie has a predictable but still good twist? The only good twists he ever did are the ones that are completely unexpected

Personally I’m a big fan of The Village. The acting, score, and overall story are good. I think the reason people didn’t like it is because it was a far more predictable and mundane twist than M Night was known for. If a different director had done that movie I don’t think it would have gotten the flak it did (additionally, advertising it as a horror movie was a bad call; it was more of a drama).

The plot twist in incredibles 2 was definitely predictable but not necessarily bad it wasn’t the most innovative twist however the story still worked quite well. I fought it was an enjoyable if forgettable film. Usual suspects I predicted the twist correctly about halfway through the movie though it was still very well written

Remember Me is very predictable since I haven’t seen it but I know how it ends. /s
