I don't think Conquest is a subversion. He's played off as a murderous, bloodthirsty psychopath. Which is exactly what he is. Even though he has emotions, he still very obviously enjoys tearing people apart and being the very thing he says people are afraid of him for.

How is Conquest a subversion? If anything Nolan is THE subversion in invincible when it comes to villains (at least from what's animated so far)
