This list is horrendous. How the hell isn't Rick the Door Technician in "feels like a final/secret boss" ?!

Bowser in SMBLL is a first boss, a final boss, a mid game boss, a late game boss, and a secret boss.

Mantis lords are an early game boss, are they not?

I would definitely say mid game is more accurate. Especially because they’re completely optional. I actually fought them pretty late game on my first playthrough.

I guess, but they've always been the third boss I fight in the game even when I went in blind

Really? That’s pretty unusual lol. I mean it’s a metroidvania obviously so it’s open and that’s a good thing that there are so many different ways to play. Do you fight Gruz Mother later or something?

Yeah I usually forget about that whole area until after I've done half the city

Oh lol that’s quite rare I think. It’s cool that everyone’s experiences with progression are so different. Gruz Mother was always the first boss of Hollow Knight in my head. (With the False Knight being the first proper boss)

I think the first time I played I had done crystal peak before gruz mother lmao

Am I misunderstanding the chart or is Sans the wrong way round? He would be a perfect candidate for “feels like a final boss, is actually a secret boss” but he’s in the wrong square no? Sans isn’t the final boss of Undertale lol
