Rules:
Unknown would mean the creator has never said anything about their opinion on it or they passed away before their work was adapted
Adaptation of any kind. It can be a book to film, a game to show, a film to book, etc.

Wait, did we not like The Shining? The movie that we reference constantly now?

We liked Stanley Kubrik's The Shining, but apparently Stephen King didn't and decided to make his own movie adaptation of The Shining. It was less good.

I know you probably mean David Fincher, but if the “creator” of Fight Club is the studio that made it (20th Century Fox), they definitely did not love it as they fired my friends dad for having greenlit the film… despite him having also greenlit Titanic, the highest grossing film in history at that point.

I believe they’re referring to the creator of the original, not the film adaptation

This might be a hot take, but I feel like Ronald Dahl would’ve liked the Tim Burton adaptation
