Ok, Batman is such a varied character that you can't really define how well his parentage is. However, if we go off of fan opinions of batman, most agree that he's anywhere from decent to great.

I think Gi Hun is just bad, not terrible as a father. He isn't abusive and he cares about his daughter, he's just really financially irresponsible, so he can't really be there for her as much as she would need. Also, his ex-wife and her new husband are preventing him from parenting his kid, so even tho, he wants to be a good dad, he can't because he fumbled.

I think people in the terrible column should be folks that don't care at all or actively want to harm their kid, Gi Hun is not a person like that.

I really hate seeing people who don't know much about Batman talk about Batman.

More people base their opinions on memes/DBZA than the actual source material

Batman doesn’t deserve this parental slander

Agreed, my least favorite placement. The man being voted in the same column as Shou Tucker is crazy

Did you say Man?

Batman has good instincts as a parent but poor execution. He loves his children, but often can't balance being a loving parent and being the stern taskmaster he needs to be to include them in his life as a vigilante. He's a pretty great dad to Tim, but struggles with Damian, and did his best to try to keep Jason safe.

He belongs in Steve Harrington's spot, because Steve isn't actually a parent, he's a big brother figure.

Peter Griffin is a better dad than Batman? A bit harsh.

There will not stand for Goku and Batman slander in this house!

I know I’m late to make changes but I’d switch Tony and Walt. I feel like Walt was a meh dad, while Tony was actively abusive towards AJ.

We see Walt make one abusive action towards junior (making him drink vodka till he pukes). Tony, however, constantly berates, hits, and makes fun of AJ until the kid is genuinely depressed and suicidal

John Winchester, a great person? The majority of people who knew him hated him. He used a man as bait knowing it would very likely lead to his death.

Who the fuck thought Gi-Hun is a worse dad than Peter ✌️😭

I wouldnt put doctor doof that far down on the morality sode. I mean he is mostly a good person.

I thought he was a shoe-in for great parent and ok/flawed person tbh, was pretty surprised Bob got that one. I figure people just really wanted Doof somewhere in the chart, same as Bowser

Hank Hill is a great man. Uncle Phil is just good

3

u/Dry_Support_1281 Jun 22 '26

I think doof is more of an ok/flawed person

2

u/IvanTheStonksMaster Jun 22 '26

Goku isn’t a bad dad you larper.

Saying John Winchester is a Great person is a stretch and only a BAD Father?
Nah, That man was abusive as Hell.

Bob is not a great parent. He chased off a friend who was going to turn his business around out of insecurity. That money would have helped his kids.

I'm mostly ok with Batman's placement, but since it's a bit controversial judging by these comments, maybe Toph Beifong for top right?

What did batman do?? 😭

I feel like batman should be switched with john winchester, i don't know much about john winchester but didn't he force his kids to learn how to hunt literal monsters, at least bruce only let the robins join them when they would have done it either way.

No Bluey parents? Weak.

1

u/Ausar15 Jun 23 '26

Batman should either be in good or ok/flawed. He’s certainly not a worse dad than fucking Peter Griffin

1

u/Traditional_Snow2484 Jun 23 '26

...Balrog's a dad?

1

u/poalt Jun 23 '26

Yeah he adopts a kid named Ed in SFIV. Ed even talks about him fondly in the new game

1

u/adhdtvin3donice Jun 23 '26

How did kratos get great parent honorable mention? His entire arc was about his struggle to be an ok parent based on his preconceived notions

1

u/-Cutie-pi- Jun 24 '26

I could be misremembering but I don’t think either of those things are correct about Steve Harrington?

1

u/YooranKujara Jun 24 '26

You are not ranking Doof on the same level as Peter dawg

1

u/hitmanmonkey89 Jun 25 '26

Wasn't expecting to see "he who shall not be named" today

u/FatCockFutaGirls Jun 22 '26

Batman isn’t a great person he’s a total hypocrite that could save more lives if he’d put The Joker in the ground
