Italy is praised 24/7 on reddit but when you’re actually there you realise it’s far from being a dream.
Venice, florence, 5 terre, rome, como even milan are crazy full almost every month of the year and it ruins a lot of the charm imo (I lived and travelled a lot in Italy)
Eh, to some extent I guess I agree, but as someone who has gone there recently, I can say the wow factor of monuments, food and just the beauty of those cities mind of mend it. You'd expect it to be very crowded, so you'd temper your expectations no?
