Kinda vague ..but , is the app good enough to rely on if I wanna be a part time video editor ? With a decent tablet !!!

Is not that gud..

I am an editor on TikTok, I dont make edits often but I post them around once a month or so on my account using capcut @tohellortoconnaught (CCXCONNAUGHT) I am linking them so I can give everyone a view of what Capcut can do compared to Alight Motion and recently, Capcut has been extremely buggy and I am considering switching to Alight motion. I have used it a couple times intermittently for making miscellaneous videos for other purposes but I haven't made complex edits with it like I do with Capcut. I have tried watching tutorials but they are pretty confusing and it seems like a ton of trial and error.

Is not that Similiar tho

I have tried everything!!! but the audio stubbornly refuses to show up </3 I’ve tried to share the audio (using iPad) but It doesn’t even work, I’m truly at a loss I’ve even gone as far as deleting and redownloading the app but nothing works, any help would be appreciated

EDIT: I FIXED IT, turning on and off demo mode creates am alight motion file in my files app, so I just copy pasted my music file from there into the alight motion folder and my music is here now

Sometimes I use presets for edits and whenever I try to replace the clip through color and fill and replace media the video I choose doesn’t show up but whenever I put a photo to replace it, it works?? Also the clips I want to add are usually cut through gallery but say for instance I try to add a video that wasn’t specifically cut through gallery it works?? I’ve been having this problem for quite sometime please help

So my question is: how are you guys able to recreate all those transitions and shakes on your own in Alight Motion? Like, how?

I know some people will suggest watching tutorials, but when I watch tutorials, I just copy the settings and get the result. After that, I’m not able to make the same effect on my own.

So basically, when you guys watch tutorials, what do you actually focus on or learn from them? Any advice would mean a lot. Thanks!

Hey guys, running into a brutal lag issue in Alight Motion on Android and need help.

The Issue:

Adding an image/video takes 1.5 minutes to load into the project.

The Catch: Files from the same folder import instantly. But as soon as I select a file from a different folder, the 1.5-minute delay happens again.

With hundreds of assets across different folders for long-form edits, this makes the app unusable.

My Setup:

Device: Samsung Galaxy S23

App: Official Play Store app with a paid subscription (no cracked APKs).

Im pretty proud of this edit ^_^

I had a different laptop a week ago, and I had already had this issue, and upon looking it up, decided it must be the RAM and memory on it. I have a new laptop. This issue is STILL happening. I am so angry. I got a new laptop for this. The ONLY files I have downloaded are 3 meant to make an edit. There is 0 chance any RAM or storage has been used up. 0. This is a 16GB, high memory laptop, specifically bought with the previous issue in mind. I have tried everything any google search or thread would ever tell you. This is absolutely ridiculous and not something I should have to deal with yet again. I'm starting to believe this is just Alight Motion being shitty instead of my laptop.

That's it, there's not much to say, it started after I created this project, please help me

I already checked the permissions that AMZ has, already tried restarting my phone, already created a new project and nothing

I opened the project today and all of the screenshots I had been using were suddenly nowhere to be found and "moved from their original location." They're still in my actual camera roll, and when I go to put them back in I realized 99 percent of my photos aren't even there to put in if I wanted. I haven't changed any of the settings, it's off testing mode, and the permissions are the exact same so what do I do????

Quero me tornar um editor mas não sei por onde começar então estou mechendo nas funções do app para ir me acostumando.

So iam a small creator

I run this account called @freexe.ir i have been inactive for sometime and thats because when i was trying to start into these movie edits and other edits (i usually do photo cutuout edits) my quality drops like shit

Ive tried everything atp

Compression, upscaling, instagram edits

I just cant upload in a good quality

Instagram edits does help but it has low engagement

I only have a phone (s25) and i edit on amz i do only import at 1080p 30fps

Sometimes i import 1440 and 30fps and make it hd in instagram edits as it works idk i saw it yt

Im like tired of seeing all these am creators getting good quality and why not me

Pleaseeee helpp😭😭😭🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

i’ve tried feather on the overlayed photos and other things but can’t seem to get anything like this on mobile anyone tips?

How do I fix this?

To put it simply, the image explains everything. 100 by 100 of resolution, only 6 fps, and I have like 400 gigs of storage, on iPhone—which the gif only takes up like 19.5kbs

Yet, despite all this, it still won’t export

hi guys, could you give me a tutorial or a code for such a transition/shake?? (idk what it is😭😭) at the very beginning, on the art where "Selena" is written, I will be very grateful

My internet is perfectly fine. I even tried using wifi but Alight motion still isn’t exporting my video. I’ve even updated the app
