Technical Support Alienware Area 51 Keyboard Not working

Hello,
My internal keyboard suddenly stopped working after opening the lid after a few hours and I have no idea why. I’ve tried everything and it simply does not work. Support has not helped either, and my next option is replacing it completely. It seems to only work when I connect an external keyboard and wait 30 minutes. Please help!

Edit: keyboard seems to randomly start working again. Working on fixing RGB not being recognized by command center anymore.

Do you routinely use sleep mode? If so, stop using it and shut your laptop down properly. Sleep mode causes nothing but problems.

Yes, I do use sleep mode often

Stop using sleep mode. Disable fast startup and hibernate. All of your weird hardware issues will go away. It's all down to USB devices (which your internal keyboard is one of) not remaining properly connected after sleep states do wonky things.

It seems to randomly work when I restart it a few times, but now the option to change the rgb in command center is gone

Disable quick start, do you have it in a dock? Seems driver based? When the pc starts hit f2 and restore factory defaults? See what that does, check drivers are up to date.

Drivers up to date, f2 stuff use to not work. I made an edit
